How much does a rhinoplasty cost? What really drives the price
It is natural to want to know straight away. But a rhinoplasty does not have a single "price list", and there is a good reason. Here is what really makes the difference, transparently.
An honest premise: a serious figure can only be given after a consultation, because every nose is a case of its own. What I can do here is explain what it depends on, so you arrive informed.
1. The type of surgery
Touching up a small bump is not the same as fully reshaping a nose. And a septorhinoplasty, which also corrects the septum and breathing, has a different complexity from a purely aesthetic rhinoplasty.
2. First surgery or revision
Operating on a nose that has never been touched is different from correcting one already operated elsewhere. Revisions are technically more demanding, because you work on already modified tissue: they require more time and experience.
3. Anaesthesia and facility
Local anaesthesia with sedation or general anaesthesia, operating room, team, possible overnight stay: these are items that weigh in and are part of the safety of the procedure, not a detail to cut.
4. The experience of the surgeon
On the nose you usually operate only once. The surgeon's competence and the results they can show you weigh, rightly, on the value of the procedure.
Beware of prices that are too low
A quote that is clearly cheaper than the others should make you think. A revision to correct an unsatisfactory result almost always costs more than a first surgery done well, not to mention the time and peace of mind. The right price is the one that includes experience, an adequate facility and post-operative check-ups.
At the consultation we analyse your case and I give you a clear picture, with no surprises. For me, transparency is part of the treatment.
